Nik Ritchie asked:

There has been a lot of buzz lately about swine flu and i’d like to find stocks (ideally penny stocks) that somehow relate to the swine flu epidemic. Can anyone help me find a list of swine flu stock picks?

funkymonkey627 asked:

I opened up my first sharebuilder account and after investing in what I wanted to. I still have about $60 left. Since it is a little amount of money I don’t mind taking a huge risk of losing it all but also gaining a lot. I was thinking about investing in a penny stock. Is there any that you’d recommend or something to look for in a cheap stock.

Are we experiencing another Stock Market crash like it did in 1929?

Shay D asked:

I only know that the crash in 1929 had to do with farming stuff. But in today’s society, we are based on technology and property. Are we watching the stock market crash like in 1929? Or is that kind of crash not possible? I don’t know a lot about it so I’m just wondering. Thanks!

Anyone know of any stocks that have dropped a lot recently?

italiandudeinchicago asked:

I recently got into the stock market and am looking to buy some stuff that’s dropped recently hoping it will come back up. I’d prefer larger established companies rather than some penny stock. I like Jones Soda (JSDA) whose 52 week high is $36 but is not at like $6. I also like E-Trade whose 52 week high is around 40 or 50 but is currently at like $4. Anyone else have any?

Is the stock market a good indicator of how the economy is doing?

stock market
Kary L asked:

I hear from many people that if the stock market is doing well that that necessarily means the economy is doing well overall. But with the recent increase in oil prices, stagnant wages, the mortgage/credit crisis, and a government with a lot of unfunded liabilities, I find this kind of hard to believe. Can anyone give some objective info on this question?

What are the best tools to learn about the stock market for a 16 year old?

stock market
mini_roller asked:

Well I been into the stock market since 5th grade and watch CSBN almost everyday, and read about the business world a lot but I still don’t get the stock market. For example, how are do they get those figures on the graphs? I know it’s a representation for the company but not the company itself so how are these numbers made? Is it somebody’s job to make the graphs of a company go up and down or what?
I don’t want to follow somebody! I want to know why they make thoses investments and actually understand what’s going on, not follow pepole around in the dark!

So bank stocks are almost at the penny level, now what?

Is everything going to be nationalized in the US? What are your thoughts?
I believe that there is no other alternative but to nationalize a lot of industries, the biggest of which will be the auto and banking sectors. It’s unfortunate, but due to our spending habits in the past decade, what is occuring today was all but certain.
