Would it help the housing bust if people simply refused to sell their homes?
Instead of selling, holding out until the glut of short sales and foreclosures have been eliminated from the market? I’m thinking because of the glut of homes for sale, supply and demand dictates that houses will be sold for peanuts as long as non-distressed homes have to compete with distressed homes.

i need/ want to sell my home on a short sale.?
However i am on title for the property but the unsatisfied note is in the name of a different person. The contract did not include an AITD so therefore, in california law, i cannot be foreclosed on. The note holder is refusing to cooperate and is threatening to sue if i do not continue to make the ursury payments on the note. Do i have any rights in regards to selling the property even though the entire note and HELOC is in a different name?
Can a bank sell a loan in the middle of a short sale, does the new bank have to honor the original agreement?
We are in the middle of purchasing a short sale and after two long months of waiting have finally received an approval on our offer. We paid for an appraisal of the house and have all of our paperwork ready for closing. Today we found out the bank we made the deal with sold the loan to another bank. Does this new bank have to honor the agreement we made with the original lienholder, or can they decline our short sale? If so will they be held responsible for damages? (i. e. paying for the already completed home appraisal)
What is something I can make at home and sell online?
I’m really tight on money right now. I’m an eighteen year old guy, and I want to make something that I can then sell online for a little cash. If it helps, my main interest is writing stories. Please don’t suggest anything expensive to get into, as, like I said, I am short on money. Crafts are fine, so long as they don’t include knitting, sewing, or painting- I don’t like those things and suck at doing them.
